Hobie MultiEuropeans Series 2, the final day for the Hobie 16 Qualifying at the Camping La Ballena Alegre

The second and final day of the Hobie 16 Qualifying has been held in a breeze gusting up to 20 knots. This kept some of the sailors on the limit, with a couple deciding to capsize.

There were two races to complete the series giving the teams a total of four races. For some who competed in the Hobie 16 Masters that was enough races.

The sailors moved through to the next round of the Hobie 16 competition where they will meet the qualified sailors. The qualified sailors received their spots by qualifying in their home country.

Tomorrow all the sailors will receive new sails and battens supplied by Hobie Cat Europe. These special sails are commemorative for the 2021 Hobie MultiEuropeans.
