Hobie Cat® Worldwide and the International Hobie Class Association are pleased to announce that the 21st Hobie 16 World Championships will take place in 2016, at the idyllic location of Dapeng, Longgang, which is set among the scenic mountains of the Dapeng District of Shenzhen in southern China.

2016 Hobie® 17 North American Championships the Hobie 18 US Sailing Multihull Championships

The 2016 Hobie 17 North American Championships will be hosted at Carlyle Sailing Association 20960 Hazlet Park Rd, Carlyle, Illinois 62231 and Hobie Fleet 123 from the 21st August to 26th August. Most of the cat sailing in Holland takes place on the North Sea coast; the Dutch Dragoon Cup is hosted by the Cat Club Zeeland (CCZ) on Veerse Meer (Lake Veere). The water is shallow and relatively protected which is perfect to train the young Hobie sailors.

26 boats, 8 countries compete for the 2015 Vistra Hobie 16 Asian Champs

Damrongsak and Kitsada Vongtim from Thailand won the Vistra Hobie Asian Championship 2015 in a convincing fashion. In some excellent sailing they managed to win all but 1 of their races. The Vongtim brothers have won the Hobie Asian Championships many times over the years.
