From 8th August the world’s best Hobie 16 sailors will start at the Hobie World Cat 2017 within the Sylt Sailing Week. A total of 9 invited teams from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, South Africa and the USA will compete.

Last year was the 40th anniversary of the Fleet 204’s Madcatter regatta. The fleet pulled out all the stops, promoted the event heavily and over 100 Hobie Cat’s showed up making it by far the biggest Hobie regatta in North America.
