Thrilling Action at the 2025 Multihull Copa de España in Valencia

Copa España’ 2025 4

This past weekend, the 2025 edition of the Multihull Copa de España was held at the prestigious Real Club Náutico de Valencia, delivering a spectacular showcase of speed, skill, and resilience on the water.

The regatta kicked off with challenging conditions—over 20 knots of breeze on the first day tested the crews with rough seas and demanding tactics. As the weekend progressed, the wind moderated to a more manageable mid-range, offering excellent racing conditions that allowed the full schedule to be sailed and gave every fleet the opportunity to shine.

In the Hobie 16 class, it was Marc Jovani Llopis and Maite Copovi Ramon who claimed the top spot on the podium with a consistent and commanding performance throughout the event. Coming in a strong second were Juan Antonio Llabrés and Tono Llabrés, who kept the pressure on the leaders and delivered a solid regatta of their own.

The Multihull Copa de España once again proved to be a highlight of the Spanish multihull calendar—combining fierce competition, world-class organization, and the stunning setting of Valencia’s coastline.
