26 Open and 12 youth teams competed at Dadonghai Beach, Sanya, China. The racing was 1st to 3rd September.
Sanya is on Hainan Island, the most southern part of China. Sanya is famous for the water sports activities and the Hobies certainly added the colour to the island. Sanya is one of the most popular tourist destinations due to is good weather condition all year around.
The event was organised by Sanya Jiyang District Government, Tourism Sports and Culture Bureau, Sanya SYA, Dadonghai Management Co., Guoying Holdings, Shenzhen Aoji Sports.
While the weather was light the competition was very close. With the 12 youth teams enjoying their racing on the Hobie.
