Hobie MultiEuropeans Series 1 Day 1 2021

Hobie MultiEuropeans Series 1, Day 1 at the Camping La Ballena Alegre.

The races were planned to start at 13.00 for Dragoon and HC14 Classes.

Weather conditions, unfortunately, were unstable, with some rain in the morning. Teams waited onshore until 14.00 due to weak and shifty winds, but they were all ready to go on the water once the Delta flag was up.

The Race Committee was able to run 3 races for both classes with 11-12 knots from ESE wind.s.

After day 1 the top three places in the Dragoon and Hobie 14 classes are

In the morning, Pep Subitares from the Sailing Club and Caterina Degli Uberti President of the EHCA participated in a press conference with the city mayor, sport and tourism aldermen from the Catalonia region to present the scheduled event and thank all the authorities involved and the participants,

The wet bar opened after the protest time, so sailors, staff, jury, and race committee were able to share their feelings and experiences after the first day.

Starting time again at 13.00 for day 2 with new arrivals for the Master class are expected.
