Get your sails trimmed and your hulls polished. Fleet 441 from Burlington is thrilled to announce they will be hosting the 2025 Hobie 14 NA Championships! Mark your calendars for September 8-11, 2025, because Burlington Beach Catamaran Club (BBCC) is about to become the epicenter of Hobie 14 action.
BUT here’s the exciting part, we’re throwing the doors wide open! Whether you’re a seasoned pro looking to battle it out for the championship title, or a casual sailor with an aluminum mast, a non-Comptip boat, or even a Hobie 14 Turbo, we want YOU!
That’s right, this event isn’t just for the “big guys.” We’re creating a challenge series alongside the championship racing, giving everyone a chance to experience the thrill of competition. The challenge will be a fun series with a mix of traditional racing, long distance racing, and speed runs. Bring your boat, whatever its configuration, and join the fun! This is a fantastic opportunity to test your skills, meet fellow Hobie enthusiasts, and be part of a truly memorable event.
The Championships are conveniently located in Southern Ontario Canada, on the north shore of beautiful Lake Ontario, just a short distance from Toronto and Niagara Falls region. Burlington and area offer a fantastic experience for spouses and families. Our beautiful beach boasts stunning views and a vibrant waterfront, 2.1km long sand beach, and paved paths perfect for strolling or cycling. Downtown Burlington is a culinary delight, with diverse restaurants ranging from casual lakeside patios to upscale dining. Spoil yourselves with delicious cuisine and local craft brews.
