Hobie Cat Worldwide in conjunction with the International Hobie Class Association would like to advise all their sailors of the future World Championships schedule.
2016 Hobie 16 Worlds – China,
2017 Hobie 16 Europeans / Hobie 14 Worlds & Hobie Wild Cat Worlds – Europe
2018 Hobie 16 Worlds – Europe
2019 Hobie 14 Worlds & Hobie Wild Cat Worlds – TBA (may be held as separate events)
2020 Hobie 16 Worlds – TBA (TBA = location To Be Announced at a later date)
The joint announcement will assist the Hobie sailors in making their plans to attend the world championships. The format and timeframe shows the strong support Hobie Cat Worldwide for the Hobie racing community. With world championships planned to 2020 this shows the strength of the Hobie Classes.
