21st Hobie ®16 A field of the world’s best Hobie Cat® sailors battled it out on Dapeng Bay in China, on the first day of competition in the two day finals series, at the 2016 Hobie® 16 World Championship.

Day 1 Day one of the 2016 Hobie ®16 World Championship semi finals kicked off this morning in a solid, square breeze on the waters of Dapeng Bay in South Eastern China.

Hobie® sailors in the Open Qualifiers of the 2016 Hobie 16 World Championships in Dapeng, China arrived at the regatta event site this morning with the majority having their first view of the amazing worlds venue.

Series 2 The Women and Youth are each competing for World Championship titles while the Great Grand Masters, and the Grand Masters are competing to take home the Hobie International Cup in each division.
