The 2022 championship from the Pescara 808 Fleet, the Adriatic Hobie Cat Cup (AHCC), is now in its fifteenth year. A total of 21 races were held in a total of 7 days of racing throughout the year from April to August: record participation with 22 crews in the standings out of the total of 38 Hobie 16 present in the city of Pescara. Not all Hobie owners are “racers”, but they are always excited with the spirit of the Hobie Way of Life in the participation of other events, such as the annual Raid or Hobie Le Mans (read previously published articles:

The AHCC regulation, as established in the fleet assembly, provides for a gap every three races to “recompose” the ranking in the score.
Podium of all the masters of the Fleet: in first place Marcello Cozzolino with the crew Mattia Ciattoni (in place of the latter as crew, on 17 July, Roberto Olivieri), in second place Commodore Sandro Marino with his various crew chronologically embarked on “HCatamarino” Marco De Felice / Roberto Piersante / Claudia De Santis / Fabio Catalano / Maria Arzeni: In third position Paolo Schiazza with the various crew Batman Di Tillio / Vanessa Nasoni / Diana D’Addario / Mariarosa Paol’Emilio.
