Nine Hobie 18’s and 14 Hobie 17’s lined up at Perry Yacht Club, Meriden, KS – August 17-20 for the 2022 Hobie 17 & 18 North American Championships. Perry Yacht Club on the Northern end of Perry Lake.
The wind conditions were generally light though everyone did manage to trapeze and even a couple of capsizes. There were thunderstorms which also affected the wind. Though both the Hobie 18 and Hobie 17 did get 10 races in making a very competitive series.
