The Australian Hobie 14 Championships has been revitalised with an increase of Hobie 14 sailors racing their boats. The Championships will be hosted by the Vincentia Sailing Club, the same club that hosted the recent Hobie 16 Worlds. Already the recent placegetters at the Hobie 14 worlds, Georgia Warren-Miles and Fletcher Warren-Miles are planning their assault on the title.
Former Australian Hobie 14 Champion and Former Hobie 16 World Champion Mick Butler will be sailing on his home waters and will be difficult to beat. Many former Hobie 14 Champions and also Hobie sailors from other classes are lining up to race in what is the oldest Hobie trophy in Australia that has many famous sailors names on it.
